Why exist if they don't do anything?

I app**** for a change in name and ID Number for a birth certificate for my baby daughter in April 2014 and I'm still waiting!!! I followed up on the progress of my application with the call centre on ***on 17 April, 05 May, 02 June, 14 October 2014 & 26 January, 20 February 2015. Wynberg only captured the documentation on 23 July 2014, more than 3 months after handing in our application. Since then no-one can give me feedback on the progress and the last call centre agent I spoke to advised me to re-submit the documents at Wynberg and start all over. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!<br> I sent an email to the following Directors in the hope of assistance, with no response from any of them:<br> Mkuseli Apleni, Thulani Mavuso, Vusumuzi Mkhize & Gerald Meder <br> Our government surely does not work for us!
