Waiting 9 Months For New I.D Card!

To whom it may concern:<br> <br> I recently became a South African citizen in February 2015. I app**** for my I.D card on the 9th of April 2015 at the Randburg office in Johannesburg. It has been almost 9 months since I app**** for my I.D card and I have still not received any feedback despite calling the customer service line (***) several times. They even opened a case and escalated my call many times but still I've not received any feedback as to why my application is taking so long to be processed. <br> <br> Please can someone assist.
