Waiting 1 year for my son's ID !!!!

Good day. It has been 1 year and 3 weeks since i have app**** for my son's 1st ID at menlyn home affairs. After many months with out any success and patiently waiting for a sms to say i can collect his id i went back and they told me something went wrong and his ID was declined and i had to re apply as the documents wasn't unloaded successfully. I then re app**** on the 10th of June this year the process went fast i was told it was uploaded successfully. I even received a sms saying they take acknowledge of his application and home affairs branch will contact me once his id reaches the menlyn branch. After many weeks again no word my husband went there and showed them the receipt and inquired what is going on why is this taking so long.. A lady went into the system saying his application is still lying on the system at head office they must link my id number with his and once that's done his id will be processed and sent to menlyn branch. Its now 25 Nov. Still no ID and my son can't register for his study courses for next year nor go for leaners and drivers license. I am sick of waiting and no one would or can help me via email phone or branch 😒
