Very disappointed and dissatisfied

My Partner went to replace his identification document at Indwendwe home affairs on the 25th of April this year, and he was advised he will receive an SMS within 6 weeks to collect his ID. 6 weeks later on the 20th of June he decided to send a follow up via email 1st to *** which till this day has never responded.

On the same email he had also added Nozipho Ngcono who is the office manager for the Ndwendwe branch . She responded to him on the 23rd of June asking for his ID number so she can follow up to see why there is a delay.

On the same day my partner decided to go to the branch as well. When he got there he was told that his application was returned to verify finger prints, but he was not advised of this, no communication was sent to him. All they said was if he waited any longer application was going to be cancelled and he would need to pay again to do a new one. The consultant was very rude and it's unfortunate that we cannot remember his name.

My partner requested to speak with the manager and security advised him she was in a conference meeting. ( Nozipho Ngcono is the manager) So he was referred to another gentle man who assured that he will update him but my partner needs to remind him via WhatsApp. He provided him with his number.

Luyanda (my partner) have been reminding him and all he gets is a response that says "ok" and nothing else. Nozipho on the other hand after Luyanda sent her his ID number she never responded, until he followed up with her on the 10th of July and then she responded to him on the 18th of July an said "Good day An email has been sent to head office as your application has not moved from manual verification stage".

I understand that delays happen, my only problem is that no one is communicating with him. His life is on hold right now as a lot of places require an ID. I don't think his asking too much, all he need is to understand what is happening and when can he can collect his ID. I'm really disappointed at the treatment he has been receiving and I'm hoping we will receive some sort of help here.

Due to the line of his work he is available for call from morning till 1pm and emails will be best. ilI really hope he will get help as his life is at a stand still right now. Ndwendwe is our my home area and it's not fully safe if you are not from the area. He would love to go one last time just to get his ID and be done with them.
