Useless Department of Home Affairs

I’m furious as I write this review. I’ve app**** for the name amendment on my ID on the 26th of February this year and 7 months later I went to home affairs after I’ve been going for regular checks for my ID, they told me after 7months that there was an error on my application, it took the 7months to pick up an error only when I went to check on the status of my ID. I’ve been sending emails to this useless leadership of this nauseating department and can you imagine this whole entire this hasn’t been resolved. I went again today and nothing has been done, in the mean time I can’t do anything without an ID in this country, it’s been 9 months now and nothing has been done, what does it take for this useless government to do anything????
