Unpleasant service

I visited home affairs in White River today to apply for a birth certificate for my new born and also to do a reprint of my daughter's birth certificate. I got there @ 11:30 and was only called in @13:05 as we were sitting outside. We were given forms to complete including those of a reprint. I completed the form and also made a payment for the reprint. The officials reprinted the birth certificate and I noticed that the name they called out was incorrect, when I went to verify I saw that I wrote the ID number incorrect resulting in the wrong birth certificate printed. I then asked one of the officials if I need to complete a new form or what for me to get the right birth certificate. They just said I should take the birth certificate and put it on the frame - it would be a reminder of the biggest momish I made. I stood there for a whole hour without them giving me a solution. I was willing to pay for another reprint if I had to. They kept making a joke about it and asking me what else they can do for me than giving me a solution to my problem. Not that I am blaming them for my mistake, but before she could print she should have verified the information (Child's name) written on the forms with what is on the system, but she did not which also makes her ***********. They do not care how far people traveled from to get assistance, I had another 2 hours to travel back home after I decided to rather leave as I was getting annoyed with the behavior and that was @ 15:30. I believe that it wasn't the first time they came across such error and that they should not treat people in such a way, I work with people too and it really didn't sit well with me. Every error has a solution, they are public servants and bound to assist and help rectify our mistakes.
