Unacceptable service
I woul like to extend my unhappyness on the level of service I've received fromthe department of Home affairs.
I've app**** for surname amendment in September in the Randburg branch of which I was advised to come and check in three months. Three months later I called home affairs to check if the amendment was done but the lady I spoke to advised the amendment was not done yet how ever she will escalate my matter for urgent amendment. And she advised that I call after two weeks for an update.
Today day I called as advised previously and got through to Thabiso Manana who advised that my surname amendment is still not done and when I asked him of how far they are as I was previously advised it was escalated for urgent amendment and he advised matter was never escalated and will not be escalated unless it's after eight months as that is the waiting period for surname amendment.
What I find more confusing is why the two agents speaking two different stories and as a customer I am here in between not know who is fooling who.? I asked to speak to the supervisor and a gentleman came through the phone by the name of Shonisani Ndadza who then explained same as Thabiso but I still don't understand why must I suffer for the agent that missled me as a customer and he went on defending the previous agent and that got me questioning his management s**** because agents are misleading client and management is defending them.
To cut the story short Shumani did not sound like a person who was willing to help he even confirmed that I can go and submit my formal complaint as it is my right to do so. I'm now here exercising my right and I would love if someone finally get their job done and resolve my matter.
Awaiting feedback from you before close to business.
Regards Hellen Sehlapeli
