Unabridged birth certificate requests take 6 month

I app**** for an unabridged birth certificate on 29th April 2015 for my 4 year old son. <br> It is nearly 6 months and guess what? Still no certificate. The endless number of calls I make to the call centre provide me with no level of comfort. I keep being told that my case is being escalated (bla bla bla). The escalation process is clearly not working. In the first week of September, I was told that all they are waiting for is the mother and father's details to inserted. What bulldust. 6 weeks later and still no progress. My case will be escalated AGAIN....The service I am receiving is a disgrace. I app**** for another birth certificate overseas and received this in 3 working days. So if they can get it right, why can't we.... It's like talking to a brick wall...Absolutely frustrating
