Unabridged Birth Certificate almost 3 years later - still outstanding!

I am not even sure that writing anything here is going to do anything, as I don't think Home Affairs will even respond. Over 2 years ago I app**** for my unabridged certificate, it took 6 months before I got it (instead of the said 2-3 weeks) the certificated was all wrong, with surnames and the spelling of surnames. I subsequently sent in all the documentation providing all the correct information - both hand delivered to the Bellville branch in Cape Town and emailing to Pretoria Home Affairs...now it's gone over 2 years, with numerous phone calls to Pretoria and they STILL have NOT sorted it out...I am at a wits end...how can they not find (and it was provided) my documentation so that I can get this $%^#ing certificate sorted out??? Phoned again today, gave case number and they just cannot tell me when it will be sorted - they are facing challenges with getting it done....over 2 year challenge so far :(
