Unabridged Birth certificate

We app**** for my son's unabridged birth certificate on 21/4/2015. He has a std birth certificate, but for High school and travel purposes he needs a unabridged certificate. We paid the fees and was told the std line, it will be ready in 6 to 8 weeks. it has now been almost a year and we still don't have it. Every time we query it, there is another excuse. We have now been calling the monthly with no luck, and the std response \We will look into it\". We have had the same case number since the first time we queried it.<br> <br> According to them, there is no record of my son, although he was issued with a birth certificate at birth, he has a id number and he was issued with a passport 2 years ago. I need help resolving this please. <br> <br> The school is giving me issues, as I cannot give them the certificate and my son will be traveling on a school tour and will need his certificate for traveling.<br> <br> Please help or advise who else I can contact to resolve this."
