Unable to regsiter my marriage???

Incompetence on another level. Me and my wife got married 13/07/2019. The Pastor submitted the Marriage register to Home Affairs in Nana Sita Pretoria CBD on the 17 August 2019. After numerous attempts to call I decided to make a turn there to follow up on my marriage certificate. Upon my arival at Home affairs on 25 September 2019 I was informed by the door security they are closed because of a deceased staff member's memorial service. She assured me all the home affairs branches will be attending the service. I decided to go to Akasia and they were open and operated. (The staff at Akasia was astonished when I told them about home affairs in CBD being closed because that was not the case). Then the staff at Akasia picked up an error message on my wifes name and advised me that the marriage was not captured. We called the Pastor and he presented us with the stamp in the marriage register as confirmation from home affairs that the information was captured. Home affairs advised that the Pastor must come (All the way from vanderbijlpark) with his book to resolve the issues. We went back to Home Affairs in Pretoria CBD (Nana Sita street) with the pastor and the marriage register. Upon our arrival the person whom received the original Register was not at work and the Supervisor of marriage department on the 3rd named Zolla assured us that we will be contacted on Monday to resolve the issue. Monday passed and no phone call received from Zolla nor the absent colleague whom were supposed to fix the error. My wife decided to go to home affairs again today 01/10/2019 to follow up. After being sent from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor over and over again she went to Zolla with frustration that no one seems to know where or what to do. Zolla then fighted with my wife chasing her away and telling her that the Pastor took the book to the wrong person and that he should return for the 3rd time with his book to capture the marriage. Why did the person who received the book in the first place stamp the register and take the original marriage register. I am not happy about this and I need help to resolve this. By placing this review I certainly do not expect the issue to be resolved nor the staff @ Home affaris to change their attitude towards the people who pays the tax money and expect service in return. But I guess I had to share my frustration anyway.
