Umgeni durban home affairs makes errors on people's birth certificates and couldn't care to fix them

My son was registered with an incorrectly spelled name, a mistake which was determined to be the fault of a home affairs employee registering birth certificate for births as Umhlanga netcare hospital was responsible for. She has since tried on numerous occasions to reach out to head office, as she says, as they are the ones that correct the error and issue a new one with no one respon**** to her even after a a year of multiple attempts. I waa given three emails in which she use to raise the issue by an insider at the umngeni home affairs, and I have sent multiple emails to the below with no response or even acknowledgment of emails receipt. I have even gone back to home affairs to re register a correction to be done and have been waiting 3months and they still won't correct THEIR ERROR. It pains me to realize when one of their own makes a mistake there is even less urgency to rectify it, it shows how poorly the department I run it is no wonder people Identities are being ****** for decades without anyone coming to the aid of the person who I'm sure has raised the issue multiple times as with the case of Miss SA recently.
