Two years waiting for a late registration birth certificate

I app**** for a late registration birth certificate for my daughter in 2018 and I am still waiting for it.

I have been to the Department of Home Affairs in Barrack Street, Cape Town on numerous occasions with no luck. Plenty of emails not responded to and way too many phone calls with either no answer or no resolution.

Visited the Department of Home Affairs in Barrack Street, Cape Town in mid July 2020 and was requested to email instead.

Last email sent on the 6 September 2020 to eight email recipients and not one reply simply acknowledging the email.

The service has been terrible teetering on verbal abuse actually.

No birth certificate has so many ramifications for my daughter and myself as the school requires it urgently.

The resolution required is that someone at the department of Home Affairs takes responsibility to see this through so that my daughter’s birth certificate.
