The ****er of hope

<p>The department of "Home" Affairs decided to outsource their application process function to VFS. The real issue is not the outsourcing per se, but but rather that they have created ZERO ability to enquire about the status of an application, with feedback of sufficient detail to understand how much longer one has to wait. The result is that one waits for months on end, wondering where the hell an application is.</p> <p>The department has no interest in serving citizens, that is clear - keeping an applicant in the dark is akin to a human right violation.</p> <p>My wife has been waiting NINE MONTHS for an application for a partner permit renewal. This is absurd.</p>
