Study permit pending for 7 years

Dear Hellopeter, I am a student from Cameroon studying in South Africa. I came here 2010 with a study permit to take studies at any Independent Institute of Education college. 2011 I decided to study at UWC. As such, The Home Affairs gave me a study permit to study at UWC. It was a one year permit. End of 2011 I app**** for another permit to continue my studies with UWC, but it was rejected and they advice me to send an appeal application to them. I did an appeal application and up to date no outcome.

I have been following this permit outcome process but all what they tell you is that, still pending and it can take years. During that time I was allowed to use the receipt and study. When I completed my Honours Degree 2015, the receipt was to old and the university couldn't accept it any more. As such I went to UNISA to do my masters in finance. UNISA requires just a passport. I completed my masters 2018 with a distinction. Now am doing a PhD at UNISA.

I paid Immigration International SA money to follow up the permit for me, no outcome. I tweeted minister Malusi Gigaba, he gave me some Home Affairs officials to assist me. They tried, at the level whereby I was asked to submit supporting documents, Minister Gigiba resigned. I kept writing them, but no replies. I decided to write the Director of Home Affairs , and he keep telling me that he has taken note of my request. Till now when I write him, all what he says is that he has referred my case to home affairs. No one is talking to me. When ever I go the Home Affairs, all what I see is mockery.

I am just a poor African who want to study. I really need a permit now because I have to be traveling for conferences, my thesis my also requires me to travel to other African countries. Again, I have not been to my country since 2010, that is, since I left my country none of my beloved ones have seen me. My family is almost rejecting me. I am tired.

Please, I need your support. I have spent money just for this issue, but no outcome. I can't do anything without a permit. Please, help me. I have all the emails as proof. I also have my receipt from Home Affairs.
