Still no help with documents after months

<p>@HomeAffairsSA Good day. I'm taking to social media as it's been very hard via the help line and the home affairs offices to get assistance. I'm not one to create drama but after what happened today I don't know what to do. I can cry and feel broken but it will not solve anything ::</p> <p>On 17th of may 2016 I app**** for my vault birth certificate, my mother's unabridged birth certificate and my parents marriage certificate. I was told in 8 weeks I would receive them. At 9 weeks I went back after phoning to hear good news and nothing. I waited 6 hours to speak to someone and they couldn't assist told me to call help line and make case numbers and so I did. There after I went on the 26th of July to home affairs again in Port Elizabeth where I spoke to the Manager and a Miss Zimkitha Mahlungulu she first told me that they will not have my documents due to the fact that they have lost documents pre 1987 so I went to the manager and he told her to email head office and get this done. She wasn't happy yet did it but didn't even attach the documents as she was told to do. Again I kept calm and left. I have phoned so many times and today again I went to home affairs to collect my sons passport and on the system it said that my vault certificate needs to be printed (and that's incorrect cause vault copy is of the original document) again I was sent to miss Zimkitha and she told me that home affairs won't admit it but they lost the paperwork and I asked her for proof that I can at least show that I have gone threw the process but again she said they will not give any proof. She left the room to go get a form I need do fill in. I sat there an hour she came back shocked to see me and asked me why I'm there again. My heart broke and I told her what she said then she said oh no there's nothing she can do. These documents are very important and only way to get them is via home affairs. I feel so stressed our and this makes me feel like I have no faith in the country.</p>
