Since from when is Home Affairs not issuing and re-issuing IDs????????

Worst service at Home Affairs in Kempton Park. Apparently all DHA are no longer issuing/re-issuing new IDs, apparently the Minister made changes announced yesterday the security is rude and clueless of what is happening plus their staff very arrogant. Staff at Kempton Park Home Affairs is rude and not informative.

I went Friday security told me to come back today and then today I’m told Minister of Home Affairs made the changes yesterday and they don’t know when will the issue and re-issuing of IDs will resume.

Why should I pay R230 for a temporary ID when I’m a citizen of South Africa by birth? Then again pay R140 for my ID to be re-issued? Worse temporary ID last for 2 months.
