Sick performance at Home Affairs

Horror movie. Went there today to recheck is my son's birth certificate is out. This was my second submission. The 1st application according to their system is that they dontnknow why it has not been processed. For the second one, I have to wait anytime from 6 to 9months. The qeues are so very long. That place is hell. The culture of poor performance is so terrible it has been normalized. So many apllications to complete when they have all the information. Imagine sending them certified copy of marriage certificate, when they are thw issuers of the very same certificate. Talk about bot trusting your own i information. How bad can things be?
