Shocking service at the Bellville office
Bellville Home Affairs Staff are an absolute disgrace. Rude, obnoxious and don't understand the first thing about customer service and serving the public. The last time I looked they were public servants and by definition, they should serve the public.
I have just come back from the Bellville office, upon arriving I was told the system was offline and they don't know when it will be back on. I asked if they couldn't check whether it would be temporary or for the day. I was told NO!!! So I asked, No what? Was told No, they don't know and cannot check.
So I tried calling the Bellville office. The phone rings 10 or so times and then goes dead, so I call again. The same thing over and over, so eventually after 20 attempts I gave up and called the Cape Town Office. I ask them if the system is offline and they say; No, it was but is back on.
So I return to the Bellville office and ask the same rude F*$# H*% if the system is back on. He answers and says, Go get in the line!!
10 min later he comes out and says the system is offline and they would be doing any applications for the day, this at 14:00 in the afternoon. With his attitude, I have to wonder if he just doesn't feel like working for the rest of the day.
No wonder this country is going to the dogs!!!!!
