Shocking Service

I cannot express our disappointment in Home Affairs enough. We have been waiting six months now for documentation. i.e. Unabridged Birth Certificate, Vault Copy of Birth Certificate and Unabridged Marriage Certificate. Home Affairs made an error on our Marriage Certificate, emailed us to say it was their error and it is 8 weeks down the line and they still have not corrected it. We have been phoning twice weekly with no change.. Home Affairs Edenvale's Supervisor snubbed me off, turned his back on me and continued working. They just don't care a damn about the person out there. What I would like to know is, because I have not paid a BRIBE, does this now make us have to wait for ever. What do we have to do to get our Documentation. They are very quick to take your money, but not to do their Jobs. 702 spoke about bribery today, but that is what Africa is one big bribe. If you want anything done, pay a bribe. This is the only way Africa works. God Save South Africa because nobody else can. I know Home Affairs won't reply. Just had to get this all off my chest.
