Shocking customer service from the DHA

We app**** for our Unabridged marriage certificate, on the 21st November 2023.

When the application was made and paid for, we were advised the certificate would be ready for collection between 8 - 10 weeks.

It is now 9 MONTHS and we are still waiting?

My husband has been going to the Randburg Home Affairs office every week, only to be told the same story "It's not here yet".

I tried contacting/mailing numerous members within the department many times since March 2024, not once have I had a response. Also they either don't answer the phone or the lines are no longer in use.

It's shocking that it's so difficult to press one little button called "PRINT" and send to the relevant Home Affairs office in Randburg for us to collect.
