Re application child birth certificate

On 21.04.2015 i did a reapplication for my son birth certificate. on 06.10.2015 i went to home affairs to collect the certificate and the told me the is a delay i have to call ***. i called the number on 07.10.2015 the said to me the will log a case and gave me a case number:*** and said i must call in weeks time. i called on 15.10.2015 now the are telling me that heard office did come back to them i have call again in two weeks time. my question is at first the said in 3 months time the certificate will be available . now at the school the are looking for my son certificate and i don t have it.
