PROFFEFIONAL SERVICE RENDERED

I went to Home Affairs, Prospecton to apply for a smart card as I had just got married to change to my husband's name. I was told to go to Umlazi Magistrate Court and apply for an Identity document or else I should come back on my birth date which is February. I urgently needed to have the smart card as I could not withdraw money from my bank as my surname was automatically changed to my husband's name but I had not app**** for the card and my ID book still bears my ****en surname.<br> I went to google, found the KZN Acting Provincial Manager, Nosipho Shandu's contact number based in Pietermaritzburg who phoned the Prospecton office. Within 5 minutes, I was called in and went through the normal process of applying for a smart card. Nosipho kept on phoning me checking if I was really being helped.<br> I am so greatful the way Nosipho handled my matter especially as I was very frustrated since I had arrived at 06:00 and I was there the previous day where I was told that it was late (it was 14:15pm) and that they were not taking anybody in. If Home Affairs can have people who are like Nosipho, this Department could be the best in the country
