Poor Service at Home Affairs - Durban Umngeni

I went to Home Affairs in Umngeni Durban to make a birth certificate for my son in 2017. Was told if your child is over a year, you wait for an interview before it is issued. Fair enough I waited. But now seriously can you ever wait for 2 years for an interview. Been going there almost daily with no help. Strangely though I know of people who also app**** late and were called for interviews a month or 2 later. So why am I being given this poor service? I can't even put my son on Medical Aid, school, nowhere without a birth certificate. Besides the poor service, they are always rude.....
