Phalaborwa Home affairs refuses to change my surname to suit my qualifications

I be changed my surname in 2007 and tried to also change my qualifications to suit my new surname but because of ***** MQA refused and said I must always use the affidavit from home affairs. I was already employed so it wasn't a problem but I recently resigned and whilst searching for jobs I was told my qualifications and surname aren't the same despite the affidavit being shown.I went yo home affairs phalaborwa to reverse the surname as it was affecting my job hunt for 3years now but was refused to do so as they stated I already app**** and was refused in 2010 and I never did instead was told to not try as they only allow new surname not going back to old one. I asked for proof and none was provided just a message on the computer which was never relayed to me. I'm stressed and confused please help
