Permanent residency

I had to apply for my permanent residency through VFS in Bloem and had to pay the relevant fees which was over R1000. I have now been waiting for over a year and when I call the HQ directly the stupid receptionist pust me on hold for several minutes in order to not deal with me. <br> <br> VFS keeps saying they have to get feedback from HOme Affairs but my temp permit expires end of this year and they say I have to extend it if my PR has not come through yet by end of October. Do I seriously have to pay R1350 to an organization as useless as Home Affairs because some people just are too lazy to do their job.<br> <br> I have had to previously wait for two years for my last temp permit. <br> I have also helped a worker at Home Affairs sift through all the passport applications in order to find my husband's one so we can get his passport done before our trip while she ate her slap chips. They must really organize these government workers out.<br> <br>
