Payment for online passport application still not reflecting online - not able to book appointment
On 5 January 2018 I app**** online for my passport. I paid via ABSA online - and I have PROOF OF PAYMENT from Absa that the payment went through. The R400 was deducted from my bank account. However, this payment STILL does NOT reflect on my eHomeAffairs account, and thus I am unable to book an online appointment.
After numerous calls to the call centre I have been told to visit a home affairs office. The first lady was utterly rude to me, and dropped my call after putting me on hold for 11 minutes, when I asked for a reference number for my call.
On Tuesday afternoon I stood in the row for over 2 hours outside, after been told by an official that they may cut the row - but he cannot tell us what to do (Home affairs in Sophy De Bruyn, Pretoria, Mr Johannes Mabela). I explained to him my problem, after which he told me that only the call centre will be able to correct this.
I am being referred from the e-Home Affairs Call Centre to a Home affairs Office, which just refers me back. My R400 was deducted, I wrote numerous emails to ********** and ********** I spent HOURS on the phone to the call centre, and visited a branch, with no sollution to my problem.
Poor poor client service.
