PATHETIC SERVICE- SOMERSET WEST

<p>I submitted two applications for unabridged certificates for my children on the 26th September 2016 at the SOMERSET WEST home affairs office.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have both receipts which clearly states the ID numbers of each child, date and time of payment and submission.</p> <p> </p> <p>When contacting the Department of home affairs today, 25th January 2017, on the call center number- I was told that as per the system, these application were only submitted on the 18TH JANUARY 2017.</p> <p> I am absolutely appauled at the fact that an application form will sit at the Somerset west Home affairs office for 3 months before being submitted for processing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Not only does this jeopodise any chance of school application, but NO-One takes accountably for anything at Home affairs - Somerset West and you are sent from one que to the next. </p> <p> </p> <p>The office manager is never available and one is always told that she has already left for the day. ( at 2.30pm).</p> <p> </p> <p>Appauled. </p>
