Passports

My wife and I have passport's that expire in 5 months time. My son is ill in Australia, and we might well have to go to Aus for at least 6 months. We went to the Bitou Dept of Home Affairs 3 weeks ago, only to be told that their system was down. (Telkom service provider). We called again this morning, and it is still down! So no one is our area can get passports. This is unacceptable. Nobody cares, and the frustrating part is that there is nothing that we can do. Enough said.
