Passport delivery delay

I app**** for my id card and passport on 25 June 2015, I checked the status of my applications via sms request as the free status check is not available anymore. My id card is ready for collection but not my passport, it has been 2 months almost. Our vacation in Namibia has been booked and paid for long ago. I'm at a dead end as I have been told since last Tuesday that there is a hold up at the dispatch department but they are not sure why and also not able to tell me when I will have my passport. They are not willing to let me speak to any manager or superior regarding this and only escalate the matter to their bosses. At Akasia office I was told it would take +- 4 weeks. I've tried contacting the head office but the nr rings with no answer!!! Contacted the customer service center again and was told that they would notify me when they know what is going on which I strongly doubt. I can't collect it myself from where it needs to be dispatched as they do not deal with the public. I need to know what's going on with the dispatch and why is it delayed?? And what other alternative options do I have regarding this? We are scheduled to leave for Namibia by 21/08 and come back 26/08.
