Online application Department of Home Affairs

I have tried to register online for the renewal of my passport. The website is extremely user-unfriendly. I have still not received my OTP after completing some part of the process after many many tries yesterday. I cannot complete the process and cannot login to finalise my application. Does anyone have any advice on how to solve this problem.
