One year wait for unabridged birth certificate

In October 2014 I app**** and PAID for my unabridged birth certificate as I need it for administrative reasons overseas. I need the unabridged birth certificate to register my marriage in my husband's home country to legalise the marriage there.<br> <br> After numerous calls to escalate my application (case number ***) throughout 2015, I still haven't received my unabridged birth certificate. Every time I call Home Affairs, I'm told the case is being escalated - yet NOTHING HAPPENS. I'm told the case is passed from one senior manager to the next, but apparently they are asleep or dead or dead ***********, for no unabridged birth certificate appears, time and again.<br> <br> What is the purpose of escalating a case if nothing happens? Waiting for ONE YEAR for my own unabridged certificate - after numerous enquiries - is ridiculous and BAD SERVICE.
