ONE YEAR LATER-AND STILL NO PROGRESS

<p>I app**** for a NAME spelling rectification and new ID in october/NOVEMBER 2015. I was told that i need to apply for a "CONFIRMATION Letter" whilst i await the NEW ID-card with the NAME "RECTIFIED". i APP**** FOR THIS "CONFIRMATION LETTER" 10 March 2016. Ever since the application, i had made SEVERAL VISITS to the DHA, and every time after waiting in queues for more than 4 hours, i would be told that there was an "I.T. ISSUE" hence they couldnt print the LETTER. On 25 Aug.2016, i was at the Home Affiars offices - again FOR THE +100th time. After waiting 3.5hours in the poorly-managed ,unorganised mess - i was told that there was 'NO PRINTER CARTRIDGE" for my letter to be printed. THAT WAS A TOTAL LIE-as many other PEOPLE FROM THE QUEUE had copies made (Via the officials) , and those "officials" had THEIR PERSONAL SARS documents printed. ??????? I was told to check back with DHA "end of NEXT MONTH". Boksburg DHA is simply useless.</p>
