Not notified about refund of Repatriation fee!

Very disappointed with Home affairs. My husband and I both have reptriation fee from you guys for more than 7 years ago and only found out that in February 2015 we had to apply for our refund of our repatriation fee or we lose the money. In total we gave home affairs R22,000 and now we lost this money. Home affairs had our telephone numbers on the application forms, why didn't they call us to let us know that we had to fill in forms before February to get our repatriation fee back? It was fine to take our money when you needed it but however when to return it back you couldn't notify us. What if I didn't have access to the inofrmation at that time? So basically you guys stole the R22,000 from us. That is very sad!!!<br>
