No help from Home affairs

Went online to do my boyfriend's ID,I did do the payment but struggling to get a booking at Fnb Cornubia.We get told by government to get out slim Id's done because the green ID books will not be accepted any longer but The Department of Home Affairs can't even do they work,the phone line are not either working or no one is answering the call.Our time and money are being waisted!
