Need help to get registered as a married couple

Hallo, i got married to the love of my life a Canadian woman,and it's just been a nightmare to get our marriage registered,dept of home affairs neglected to send our immigration letter through to the register office after our interview, after 5 months we found out that we were not registered and i had to go back and remind them to do their job,then our marriage officer disappeared with the register,we went back to home affairs to try and find out how to solve the matter,we have moved from one dept to another,the last person we spoke to at home affairs,said he will help,but we are not getting any response from him now,no one there is willing to help us,this is a urgent matter,but no one seem to care enough to answer a simple email or to phone us back, don't know what to do or who to ask for help,if i try to resolve this my way i will loose my id, so they tell me!! but i'm tired of waiting on people,this is now eight months that i have been married without being registered, i can't apply for a visa,nor can my wife to be together for more than three months at a time..... please help!
