Name change that took forever

<p>Upon birth I registered my daughter under my ****en name because me and her father weren't married yet but after we got married , I went to apply for the surname of my daughter to be changed to that of her father's and the application was done in Sept of 2015 already but to this day the surname has not been changed and I have been calling their national office over and over and even a case was opened but still nothing is happening. I am greatly disappointed and now my daughter can't be added on her father's medical aid because they need the new birth certificate. It is really unfortunate what we have to go through unnecessarily.</p>
