Missing ID

I went to get a new ID because I lost mine while moving, so we went to the home affairs in Scottburgh. And I went back to hear were my ID was because I never got a message that my ID was ready for collection. Turns out they sent my ID to Johannesburg while on my application form it stated I live in Amanzimtoti. They told me they will get them to send the ID back to that office and they contact me once it was back, I have been waiting two years for them to call me on my ID.
