Marriage Never Registered

<p>I've been batteling for over 10 years now (since 2007) to obtain a marriage certificate from Department Home Affairs. I have to original handwritten certificate (BI-27) as completed and signed by the marriage officer. The original register was handed in to Home Affairs in 2007 and is now apparently lost. Re-marrying is not an option as an Antenuptial Contract was registered in the Deeds Office. Initially it seemed there were helpful assistance at the Department Home Affairs, but eventually it became clear that I am being ignored in hope that the problem (a.k.a challenge) will go away. When I die, please remember that I am married out of community of property and to deal with my deceased estate accordingly. So much for FICA and banks, passports and everyday admin... </p>
