Last year September I app**** to get an ID and they told me that the process will take long as I don't have birth certificate

Last year September I app**** to get an ID and they told me that the process will take long as I don't have birth certificate. So I submitted my birth records ,school reports , DNA test and finger prints and they submitted it to Pretoria. So now I'm waiting for them to call me to go and apply for an ID but I haven't received any call from them and it's been 7 months now
