Klerksdorp Home Affairs.........UP TO ****

To whom it may concern

I got the opportunity of a life time to study, work and live in Namibia.

So I got all the required documentation and did all the required tests etc, My UNABRIGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE is supposed to be included in the required documentation and keep in mind that this was done in June 2018.

TEN MONTHS have gone by and still no unabridged birth certificate, why is it taking so long ?

My police clearance states that i'm not a ********, all my parents details were filled in correctly on the application form etc.

Since June 2018, every month since then I went back to Klerksdorp home affairs to query and everytime its the same old story........"these things take time" and "we waiting for the system" etc.

Now also keep in mind that 4 personal acquaintances of mine also app**** for their unabridged birth certificates (they app**** a month or so after me) and within 2 months or so they received their unabridged birth certificates with no hassle whatsoever.

It's really pathetic, because since June 2018, a few guys that also got the same opportunity left for Namibia in March 2019 (I was supposed to go to Namibia with this group) now the guy that gave me the opportunity told me that the last bunch of guys that got this opportunity are leaving for Namibia in August 2019 and if I don't get my unabridged birth certificate before then, then my once in a lifetime opportunity is out the window due to Klerksdorp Home Affairs..............

I mean, we will be sent to Neuwdam agricultural college (all paid for), we will get a starting basic salary of R30 000pm, fully furnished house, company bakkie, citizenship after 5 years etc. Now all that will slip through my fingers if I don't get my unabridged birth certificate.

And its useless trying to call Home Affairs head office in Pretoria because I've done that and the phone just rings and rings and rings and rings............

If anybody can help me in this situation, please don't hesitate.
