I don't even know where to start, the poor level of service we get at the Durban office in commercial road is utterly disgusting..my lil brother and i have made 3 trips to this office without getting assisted...u get there 5am long before office starts operating wait long ques being bombed by street camera-man wanting a bribe to guarantee your assistance because they have people inside including the security guards working with them, if you dont pay you spend the whole day waiting to be assisted only to be told system is offline,when the sytem is working they help the people that bribed them and a few that are in the front,they are incredibly slow not considering we standing in the sun with no chairs to sit on for plus-minus 11hrs for sweet nothing...their system is always offline, to them coming to work and not working is counted as a paying productive day...we take time off from work and schools,spend money on transport for nothing...they wont even consider working an hour or 2 extra to make up for lost hrs.. they system are convienetly offline when they should be working.....to make matter worse they have branding/slogan on their wall poster that reads "WE CARE" in a bright orange colour...like *** or should i ask for who the f*ck????... Department of home affairs is a disgrace...update your systems or just close offices cause they are off no use to us..
