It Takes 8 Months to Print Birth Certificate

I am so frustrated with the Department of Home Affairs. I app**** for unabridged birth certificate on 23/09/2014 & I am still waiting 8 months later to receive my certificate. I was told that the certificate will be issued in 2-4 weeks & I am still waiting. I made numerous follow-ups since the application & I am sent from pillar to post & given lousy explanations like the application is in process, head office has not processed the application, Ms Antoinette is out on lunch etc I cannot understand any of these explanation because they make no sense to me and will not make sense to anyone nor any animal. I left my contact numbers I never got any calls from any officials including Ms Antoinette who I am told she will be in a better position to explain the months delay.<br> <br> I called the call center to lodge a complaint I was told the same thing \the application is in process"I mean is this what SERVICE DELIVERY IS ALL ABOUT? I pity people in the villages who do not have money to pay transport or make telephone calls in order to make such endless follow-ups. I spend a lot of money to ensure that my application is processed & I deserve to get services that I paid for. CAN SOMEONE HELP???"""
