Incompetence at Home Affairs!

I app**** for my son's ID on the 4th of July 2023 at Randburg Home Affairs branch submitted all the necessary documents and today I called the Randburg branch because of the message received that we did not submit the necessary documents. We provided his certificate and my ID at the branch, he even took ID photos but when I called Home Affairs HO today I am told that we did not provide those documents yet I'm told the branch uploaded everything. He needs his ID for prelims and now I have re-book so I can re-apply. I am not too sure why I have redo this whilst the system shows that these were uploaded at the branch, can someone attend to this as I am not getting help through the call centre!
