Inadequate Service by the Western Cape Department of Home Affairs

I have been struggling to get any information from the Department of Home Affairs about my Unabridged Birth Certificate.

I app**** at Wynberg DHA at the end of May - the 29th of May to be exact and i am still waiting. I get told different things on a daily bases When i call the call center and all i would like to know is what is taking sooo long and what more is required in order for me to get the document needed.

This is extremely frustrating and the service received has been shocking to say the least, as i do not see why it would be so difficult for someone to get back to me and just give me some indication on what is happening. I get told it has been escalated to a senior and that was supposedly done in June and i am still waiting as nothing has been done.
