Immigration Officials provide the worst first impression of our country at OR Tambo

My wife and I have returned this morning from London to OR Tambo. My wife a long standing permanent resident, had a UK Emergency Passport as her UK Passport application has been delayed. The Immigration officials had clearly no idea about this type of passport which the UK Consulate clearly explains is an acceptable entry and exit as confirmed by the South African authorities. The officials were rude and surly and treated us like ******* immigrants even though we had copies of my wife's permanent residence and the original valid RSA ID. As tax payers and senior citizens this was the type of treatment that just wants to make you pack up and leave. If these civil servants aren't happy in their work then don't for gods sake let them sit in the front line giving tourists and visits this hostile first impression of our country.
