After 5 yrs in a country u can apply for permanent citizenship which we've done.All other Visas were done at Paarl offices.Wonderful service through 5 yrs.Final application to go through VFS Global.Where told- max time to wait for final permanent visa will be 8 months.Handed ours in 3-11-2014.Tracked it on VFS's web.Saw 4-2-2015 that his app is now for final adjudication.It is 18-4-2016 and we are still waiting.We've called VFS many times just to hear,not our prob,call H/Aff.Tried home affairs offices here in Cape, were told to call the call center or VFS .Ive send emails to many depts, nothing.Called the call center *** what fells like 100x and all I get is: sorry, the network is congested. I saw Minister of Home Affairs Nkosozane Dlamini Zuma has a HOTLINE for any home affairs queries.It says she WILL answ any complaints-***. Called many times: Sorry, no reply is all i get. I have NO idea what to do anymore. My husband's dad died but he could not leave the country and come back again, if so, the whole proses starts again we were told.We need to go to Namib, I need his VISA, he has his own business but can not get his own bank account. It is so frustrating.Pls help!
