Identity theft at Home Affairs Randburg

On 02 July I received a text message from Nedbank informing me a bank account was created using my ID. They confirmed an account was in fact created using my ID and I had to provide them with the instruction to block the account. The Nedbank ***** investigator confirmed the ID and my picture used to create the bank account was linked to the Department of Home Affairs in Randburg. Somebody at Randburg Home Affairs shared or sold my ID information to one or more people. This week I was also notified another *****ulent account was created using my ID this time at Foschini. Employees at Home Affairs in Randburg need to be investigated for ***** and Identity theft. I am now faced with having to deal with ongoing admin to prove I did not create these accounts all because of the *******ion at Home Affairs. It's absolutely shocking.
