ID document

I app**** for my ID in 2014 but when it came out it says the expirity date is 2012 and when I told them they said it's going to take another 6 months, i'm very upset as I wanted to use it as soon as possible, now I have to cancel what I was going to do and wait for 6 months.is there something they would have done to fix this without having to wait for o long?<br> <br> Is there something they wold have done quick.
