ID appl. - 13 months later - Nothing

<p>· I am a PR holder and obtained confirmation by SMS that my application for a first time ID book was successfully received on 24/04/2015 with reference no. ***</p> <p>· I phoned several times your helpline over the last 12 months on *** to follow up</p> <p>· According to the helpline the application was still at branch level and I was advised to follow up at branch level myself</p> <p>· I did that, however on branch level I was told that whilst they can see that application was lodged no progress was made.</p> <p>· I was told to be patient (After 13 months!) and come back to the branch again in a month time.</p> <p> </p> <p>Kindly advise what I can do: Helpline cant assist, branch can’t assist. I really just want my ID book and I wonder whether you can help</p>
